mailctl - control the OpenMTA mail server

SYNTAX

       mailctl [start|stop|restart|graceful|help]

OPTIONS

       start  Start the mail server.


       stop   Stop  the mail server. All open connections will be
              terminated.


       restart
              Forcefully stop the mail server, and then start it.


       graceful
              Restart the mail server as soon as all open connec-
              tion have terminated normally.  NOTE: This  feature
              is not yet implemented.


       help   Display a brief help screen.

DESCRIPTION

       This  utility  is used to control the running state of the
       OpenMTA mail server.
